ANTONELLA FILIPPI
A history of haiku in Italy.pdf
On 28 June 2009 in Cascina Macondo, where the cultural association Cascina Macondo is based, the second Italian Conference of Haiky took place, with a lecture titled “Haiku in the Japanese everyday life” from Junko Saeki, poetess among the winners of the twenty-second edition of the “Haiku in Italian Language Prize” in 2012, organized by the Italian-Japanese Association of Tokyo and the Italian Institute of Culture. This lecture has inspired Antonella Filippi’s essay on the history of haiku in Italy, translated in English by Alessandra Gallo.
